Day 01:
· Arrival & transfer to Colombo
· P.M. City tour of Colombo including visits to the Residential, Commercial and Bazaar areas – the tour also includes visits to well known Departmental stores such as “House of Fashion” and “ODEL”, which has internationally recognized “Designer” brands of clothing at an unbelievable price.
· Overnight in Colombo.
Day 02:
· After breakfast transfer to Habarana, en-route visit the Government
run Elephant Orphanage where babies abandoned or lost by the herd are cared for and trained. Clients could witness the bottle feeding and bathing of baby Elephants.
Habarana is the hub of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. The drive will
take you through small villages interspersed with paddy fields,
coconut and rubber plantations and forest.

Day 03
· A.M. Optional excursion to Sigiriya.- payment to be made direct at site
Rock Fortress of Sigiriya - This World Heritage site, a spectacular
Rock Fortress is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. The most
impressive facts of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the
Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti,
the Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the period of Sigiriya’s glory.
· P.M. Optional Jeep safari of the Minneriya National park which is famous for its migrant herd of wild Elephants This Jeep excursion can be booked and paid direct at the hotels travel desk.
· Overnight, Habarana.
Day 04:
· Leave for Kandy visiting a spice garden to see spices growing in their natural habitat and a batik factory to witness the manufacture of hand made batik’s en-route.
Kandy - This lovely city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the
Sinhala Kings retains an aura of grandeur, which time has not affected. Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its center, it is the site of the renowned “Temple of the Tooth” and the Royal Botanical Gardens, home to one of the best collections of Orchids. Kandy and its satellite villages are the center of the islands handicrafts industry and its traditional dances are the most spectacular in the country.
· P.M. Visit the Temple of the Tooth and late evening witness a cultural performance.
· Overnight , Kandy
Day 05:
· Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens - once a pleasure garden of our ancient Queens, it has a wide and rare collection of tropical and temperate, exotic and indigenous flora. The gardens specialty is an orchid house which has one of the largest collections in Asia.
· On completetion proceed to Nuwara Eliya visiting a Tea Plantation to see how tea is plucked and a Factory to witness the processing of the raw green leaf to the final graded product.
Nuwara Eliya is the heart of Sri Lankan hill country, it is the home of the famous Ceylon Tea and the rolling mountains are a carpet of velvety green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls. The salubrious climate, misty glens and the decidedly British character make Nuwara Eliya a must on any Sri Lankan travel industry.
· Overnight Nuwera Eliya .
Day 06:
· Proceed to Bentota via Kithulgala, the famous film location site “The Bridge on the River Kwai”. Optional white water rafting excursion and transfer to beach hotel of choice. This short but exhilarating excursion is “level 03 “ and is suitable for most people between the age 08 to 60. This can be booked and paid direct at site.
· Overnight , Bentota.
Day 07:
· Full day at leisure to relax by the beaches/ pools.
Optional water sports / boat rides to be booked direct through hotel Counter.
· Overnight at Bentota
Day 08:
· Departure transfer to Airport.
